Charity Partnerships

Supporting charities and communities

Our charity partnerships give us the opportunity to help young people as well as give young people the opportunity to be creative in aid of good causes.

From our long-running support of Anstee Bridge and Young Minds, to raising money for Ukraine we’re proud of all the contributions we are able to make.

Anstee Bridge

Anstee Bridge is an alternative learning for young people facing emotional challenges causing them to disengage in education.

The Sew What? team have created a number of workshops with these amazing young people, showing the power of creativity and mindfulness. We have also run Outreach projects in local secondary schools in Richmond with Anstee Bridge.

Fundraising for Ukraine – Sponsored Sew

In February we raised over £500 for the British Red Cross Ukraine Appeal by running a Sponsored Sew in our lunchtime school clubs during March 2022 – it was a very rewarding experience with the children all having a sense of pride that they could help, we had amazing support from the schools and the children’s families.

Fundraising for Young Minds

Young Minds is a Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Charity, a cause close to our heart here at Sew What?
During Lockdown we made a Facemask in Yellow with all profits going to the wonderful work that this charity does.
